In schools across the Caribbean there is a person — usually a deputy principal or a senior teacher — who dreads August. Ms. Charles can't teach 4B and 5A in the same period. The lab only fits one class. Form 3 options run in bands. The part-time music teacher is only in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. PE can't follow lunch on the far field. Every cell you fill has to respect all of those rules simultaneously — and Excel checks none of them. It will happily let you double-book your maths department and smile while doing it.
